The Xero integration built for Agend AMS has a number of key features to sync data from Agend AMS to Xero and back again. The integration was built to minimise effort for organisations by reducing what data needs to be entered as well as to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial records.
It also provides further capabilities for automations and so-on where items that might rely on payment, such as event tickets, can be sent only when payment is received. It also means organisational team members can be given some access to financial information but keep Xero access to a minimum.
Core features:
- * Real-time sync: updates to either Agend AMS or Xero are reflected in the system automatically
- * Product creation: when creating a product in Agend AMS, a product is automatically created and populated in Xero, including the SKU
- * Tracking categories: for each product, Agend AMS can be assigned up to 2 tracking categories used within Xero for more enhanced reporting to see how different areas of the business is performing, such as departments, cost centres, locations or even down to products/events
Configuration options:
- * Invoice prefix can be set
- * Linking orders to various accounts, such as: sales, shipping, fees, payment, rounding
- * When to send invoices: manual; on order creation; on order payment; on order completion
- * How to treat shipping & fees: Income/revenue/sales or as an expense
Order management:
When updating orders, manual intervention can be performed should a failure happen for whatever reason (eg the SKU for a product was changed and it no longer syncs). Agend AMS has a simple method of re-sending key information to Xero in case of a fault, such as:
- * Send invoice to Xero
- * Send payment to Xero
Order notes:
A detailed history of actions for an order are kept on the order which can aid in identifying if there was any fault between the 2 systems.
