Stripe Capabilities

Stripe is one of the world’s largest and most used e-commerce payment gateways. It is highly popular due to the ease of which it can be integrated into e-commerce websites; its flexility with payment methods and its simple fee structures.

Agend AMS Stripe Integration

Agend AMS has integrated deeply with Stripe to provide a number of methods for payment capabilities along with reporting and completing the loop when it comes to integration with Xero.

Payment Methods that can be configured to work directly with Stripe are:

  • Credit/debit cards
  • Direct debit

These methods have a number of configuration methods and settings to provide a great user experience for customers as well as integrate it deeply throughout the organisation.

Credit/debit card settings:

Key options within these settings are: the ability to store a saved credit card to the customer’s profile making for easy repeat purchases; further security checks & balances through Stripe’s Force 3D Secure feature; which credit card types to accept along with different wording/presentation options and more.

Direct Debit settings:

Direct debit can also be set up as a payment option where customers in specific countries (typically Australia) can choose to provide their financial institution’s BSB and account number to direct debit from for one-off or repeat purchases (such as a subscription).

Various values can be set to name and describe what those features are and how it presents to customers.

Offline / EFT Payments

Agend AMS can also accept EFT payments and also prompt for a purchase order number if so required. The customer simply proceeds through the checkout and is given the option to pay on invoice. They can then be prompted to add a purchase order which auto-fills out the accompanying invoice and they’re provided bank account details to finalise the order.
