The August release includes new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
Features
- Content Personalisation – Added functionality to track users entry point into a site (via a UTM campaign) and control what content that user sees based on that entry point
- Mobile App – Added optional support for an enhanced event registrations endpoint. This is required for aspects of the new Agend mobile app.
- Mobile App – A list of contacts and contact groups can now be setup. This is required for the new Agend mobile app, and may be used in various ways in the website in the future.
- Mobile App – Members Contacts – Members can now have contacts. This is required for the new Agend mobile app, and may be used by the website in the future.
- Mobile App – Member Notifications – Notifications can now be added, supporting the notion of topics. This is required for the new Agend mobile app, and may be integrated into the website’s Member Dashboard in the future.
- Mobile App – New API – A new API has been developed for Agend, which supports the new Agend mobile app in a number of ways, such as events, news, content, tickets, member settings and contacts, and more.
Improvements
- Theme- accessibility improvements:
- Improved keyboard navigation of header+menus:
- Display submenus when items are tabbed through. Previously you could tab through all of the submenu items, but they were not visible.
- Prevent tabbing through the search form input and button when the search is not being displayed.
- Added a skip to content link in the header for screen readers + keyboard users (appears after the logo when tabbing through).
- Improvements to header form elements:
- Added screen reader labels for form fields.
- Added autocomplete hints for login form fields.
- Added an outline on the remember me checkbox when focused via keyboard.
- Improved keyboard navigation of header+menus:
Bug fixes
- Theme – Fixed minor styling issues with Gravity Forms time fields.
