Important Note
This process is for adding a new individual membership to an existing user and does not affect their previous memberships, subscriptions, or order details.
Steps to Add an Individual Membership to an Existing User
- Navigate to your WordPress Admin dashboard.
- Go to Membership > Individual Memberships.
This page provides an overview of all individual memberships in your database, including:
- Member #
- Member Name
- Plan Name
- Membership Since
- Next Payment Date
- Subscription Status
This list can also be filtered based on membership plans and statuses.

- Search for the User
Use the search bar at the top right corner to find the user by name or email. - Select the User
Hover over the desired user in the search results and click on ‘Add membership’. - Pre-populated Information
On the next page, the user’s details should automatically populate in the designated fields. Review the following:- Contact Details:
- First NameLast NameEmail AddressPhone Number
- CountryAddress Line 1Address Line 2CityPostcode
- Contact Details:
- Add Membership
Under the Memberships widget, click on the empty field labeled Membership Plan and select the required membership from the dropdown list. - Set Start Date
- Choose a Start Date (can only be the present day or a past date, not a future date).
- Choose a Start Date (can only be the present day or a past date, not a future date).
- Next Payment
Leave the Next Payment field blank. This will be managed automatically by the system based on the membership’s next payment date configuration. - Order Status
- If the user has already paid for the membership, tick the Order Status checkbox to grant immediate membership access.
- If the payment is pending, the user will receive an email with the order details, requesting payment. Once the payment is completed, the user will receive their membership.
- Create Membership
Click on the ‘Create Membership’ button at the bottom right corner of the widget to finalize the membership addition.
