How to Use the Tickets Functionality

The Tickets functionality in Agend AMS allows you to create, sell, and manage event tickets with full control over pricing, availability, registration forms, and attendee data. This ensures a seamless and professional experience for both your internal team and your members.

Whether you’re running a professional development workshop, a networking event, or a multi-tiered annual conference, the ticketing tools support a wide range of scenarios tailored to your organisation’s needs.

Ticket Creation #

When creating or editing an event, scroll to the Tickets section to add new tickets.

Here you can:

  • Set ticket names (e.g., Member, Non-Member, Early Bird)
  • Define pricing for each ticket type
  • Limit quantity available (for capped or exclusive events)
  • Set start and end dates for when the ticket can be purchased (e.g., close registrations a day before)

Tip: Tailor tickets to different member types to support pricing rules, such as discounted member access vs. standard public pricing.

Ticket Inventory & Availability Management #

To manage event capacity and ensure you don’t oversell:

  • Set stock limits per ticket.
  • Track ticket sales in real time via the dashboard.
  • Once the limit is reached, the system automatically closes sales for that ticket type.

This is particularly useful for events with physical space limitations or VIP allocations.

Advanced Ticket Options #

Click on Advanced when editing a ticket to access key configuration features:

  • SKU Field: Assign a unique identifier (SKU) to each ticket.
    • This helps with reporting, order management, and cross-system linking (e.g., financial records or CRM tags).
    • SKUs can reflect event name, location, or session (e.g., CONF2025-MEM-AM).
  • Custom Registration Form: Collect attendee data such as:
    • Full name, email address
    • Dietary requirements
    • Accessibility needs
    • Member ID or organisation name

Create meaningful data points for better attendee engagement and post-event reporting.

Attendee Registration #

Each ticket can be linked to a registration form where purchasers enter attendee details during checkout.

  • Registration forms are fully customisable.
  • Capture individual information per ticket (for example, if one person is buying for a team).

This ensures your team can generate accurate attendance lists, certificates, or follow-up communications.

Example Scenario #

Your association is hosting a national seminar with a limit of 200 attendees. You create:

  • Member tickets ($50) – available to all active members, with early access.
  • Non-member tickets ($90) – available to the public.

The system manages ticket sales, closes them once full, and sends confirmation emails to both buyers and registrants. All data is synced with your member CRM for follow-up.
