# Agend Jobs – a branded job board employers pay to post on

Employers buy credits to publish roles. Members search, save and get alerts. Your branding, your domain, your revenue line.

## Sound familiar?

- Your jobs page is a free noticeboard nobody visits, and it earns your organisation nothing.
- Roles arrive by email, someone on staff pastes them into the website by hand, and there is no record of who posted what.
- Employers in your industry spend their advertising budget on Seek, where your members are one résumé among thousands.

## A job board that is a revenue line.

Employers create their own listings and pay for them. A credit is deducted when a role is published, not when it is drafted, and if you reject a listing in moderation the credit goes back. Members search, filter, save roles and set alerts, on your own domain.

## What it does

- **Employers pay to list, members get the roles** — Credits are the unit of posting – one credit publishes a job for 30 days, and it is only deducted at publish, not at draft. Membership tiers can carry a yearly quota, and when it runs out employers buy more through Stripe checkout.
- **It looks like your board, not ours** — Each account resolves through its own verified custom domain, or falls back to an account slug. Colours, logo, favicon, hero image and copy are all configuration, and you decide whether new listings need approval before they go live.
- **Filters that match how roles are actually advertised here** — Search by keyword, category, tag, city and state, with employment type covering full-time, part-time, contract, casual and internship. Salary ranges are in AUD and employers choose whether to show them.
- **Members return without you sending an email** — Anyone can browse; signing in adds saved jobs and alerts. A member turns a search into an alert and picks immediate, daily or weekly digests, and new matching roles arrive by email. Alerts are managed from their own account, not by your staff.

## What runs the board

**For members and job seekers**

- **Search and discovery** — Keyword search across title, description and company; Filter by category, tag, employment type and experience level; City and state filters, minimum salary, posted-within-days; Featured and latest jobs on the board homepage

- **Saved jobs and alerts** — Browse and apply without registering; Save listings to come back to once signed in; Turn search criteria into a named alert; Immediate, daily or weekly email digests

- **The listing itself** — Full description, company info, logo and website; Salary range shown or hidden at the employer's choice; Apply via external URL or a pre-filled email; Related roles from the same category

**For employers**

- **Listing management** — Draft, pending, published, closed and filled statuses; Categories and tags on every listing; Application deadline and expiry, 30 days by default; Filterable, paginated table of all your listings

- **Credits and payment** — Credit balance on the dashboard, warning when it runs low; Credit deducted at publish, not at draft; Stripe checkout to buy more when the quota is gone; Purchase history and a full transaction ledger

- **Performance** — View count per listing; Apply-click count, tracked for guests and members alike; Recent listings with status at a glance

**For your organisation**

- **Board configuration** — Set which employment types and experience levels are allowed; Moderation on or off, with a pending queue before listings go live; Hero title, subtitle, search placeholder and section headings; Credit price and default expiry set per organisation

- **Domains and reach** — Verified custom domain per account, or account slug; JobPosting structured data for search engines; Open Graph and social cards with the company logo; Slug-based, canonical URLs on every job page

- **Taxonomy** — Hierarchical job categories with live job counts; Tags for skills, technologies and certifications; Featured listings promoted on the homepage

## A job board wired into the rest of the platform.

- **Membership tier decides the posting quota.** — Credits are allocated against the employer's membership tier, so the job board becomes a benefit with a price attached rather than a free-for-all.
- **One listings engine, two products.** — Jobs and Directory run on the same listings core, so search, categories, tags and custom-domain routing behave the same way in both.
- **Payments where the rest of your billing lives.** — Credit purchases run through the same Stripe billing and account infrastructure as the rest of the platform, not a separate merchant setup.
- **Roles show up on the site you already have.** — Widget support means job listings can be surfaced on your existing website instead of being stranded on a separate board.

## Frequently asked questions

- **How do we price the credits?** — You set a flat price per post, configurable per organisation. One credit publishes one role for thirty days. Editing a published job does not cost another credit; reposting an expired one does.
- **Can we give members free postings and charge everyone else?** — Yes. Credits can be allocated against a membership tier and topped up with pay-per-post purchases through Stripe checkout when the allowance runs out. Admins can adjust a balance by hand, and every allocation, purchase, use and refund is recorded as a transaction.
- **Can we approve roles before they go live?** — Moderation is a board setting. With it on, a submitted listing sits in pending until someone approves it, and rejected listings return the credit to the employer. Listings move through draft, pending, published, closed and filled, so you always know where a role sits.
- **Can it run on our own domain?** — Each board resolves by verified custom domain, falling back to your account slug. Hero text, search placeholders, section titles, colours, logo and hero image are all board configuration, so it reads as your board rather than ours.
- **Won't it just lose to Seek?** — It is not trying to be Seek. It is a niche board for your industry, so an employer reaches your members instead of the whole market. Listings carry JobPosting structured data and canonical URLs, so roles are still indexed and findable outside your site.
